  I actually went to DBCS for two years. I went there for my 7th and 8th grade year. (I am going into 9th). It was one of the most worst school experiences of my life and I went to Campbell middle school where there was ALWAYS a fight going down so that's a lot to say. Before I went to that school I liked waking up in the morning and learning. While going there all I wanted to do is cry knowing I had to wake up the next day and deal with that place. That place can be very lonely especially when you're a minority . I was the only black person in my class for the two years I was there, and there was always racist jokes that were very insulting and hurtful and the people that were doing it never got in trouble. The odds were always in your favor if you are white. I once was almost sent to the office over s bag that I didn't even touch and it took three people to back me up and tell the teacher that I did nothing wrong. Teachers are often bias and often a student gets in trouble for breaking a rule while another student gets off easy for breaking the exact same rule. The high school there is a complete sham and the teacher of the high school shouldn't even have a teaching degree. Please don't let your children go there. It is very emotionally draining (at least it was for me), and I would have been so much more ahead if I just stayed in public school. Please don't let your children go there.
